Herba Krill Oil is a unique source of omega-3 essential fatty acids. Extracted from Antarctic krill, krill oil is rich in omega 3 EPA and DHA as well as phospholipids, flavonoids, and the carotene astaxanthin. Unlike regular fish oil, EPA and DHA from krill oil are attached to phospholipids which result in krill oil significantly more absorptive and bioavailable. Omega-3’s are referred to as “essential fatty acids”. The Omega 3 fatty acids are not produced from the body, instead, they must be obtained from dietary sources such as fish.
