Cat’s Claw is native to the Amazon forest of Central and South America, and resembles (you guessed it) the claws of a cat as a flowering plant.
With a mixture of plant chemicals, Cat’s Claw is micronized into a finely powdered extract that is believed to have anti-inflammatory effects throughout the body in addition to reducing free radical damage to skin, tissues, organs and more.
RECOMMENDED USE OR PURPOSE: Used in Herbal Medicine to support immune function.
MEDICINAL INGREDIENT – EACH CAPSULE CONTAINS:
Cat’s Claw 4:1 Extract (Stem bark (Uncaria tomentosa))…………………………125 mg
(Equivalent to 500 mg of dried Cat’s Claw stem bark)
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Brown Rice Flour, Magnesium Stearate, Gelatin (Capsule).
RECOMMENDED DOSE – (ORAL) ADULTS ONLY: Take 2 capsules three times per day with a glass of water.
CAUTIONS: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking immunosuppressants or any prescription medications; suffer from an immune-system disorder (e. g. Crohn’s disease, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, HIV / AIDS, etc.), cancer or asthma; or have severe allergies. Do not use if you are an organ tissue recipient; or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Discontinue use if diarrhea persists or is bothersome.
